Some of last year's successes...
- 969 Canadians were tested for HIV and other STBBI at 109 different events across the country.
- The event received national media coverage from news outlets such as Radio-Canada, CBC and CTV.
- Point-of-care testing (POCT) was introduced to regions where it had not previously been available, such as Atlantic Canada. POCT is a newer testing technology that has been proven to be very effective with populations that traditional testing misses.
